The iconic White City headquarters of all things BBC first opened in June 1960, but has now been sold off, presumably for swanky redevelopment

This excellent Channel 4 series was first broadcast in 1999 and featured Cocker travelling the world to look at various forms of Outsider Art
Perfect Sunday afternoon viewing
Jam remains one of the darkest comedy series ever broadcast on British television. Chris Morris insisted that each episode was shown without an advert break to sustain the mood, and each week the programme was remixed and repeated during a late-night slot as Jaaaaam. The DVD release also contains numerous extras, including special versions of each episode, often distorted to the point of being unwatchable
